Hazardous materials shipping papers must be easy to find.

  • Tab them or keep them on top of other shipping papers.
  • While driving, keep them within reach while your seat belt is fastened, or in a pouch on the driver's door.
  • When you leave the vehicle, leave them on the driver's seat or in the door pouch.

Papers must include emergency response information and an emergency response telephone number.
